Pickles played in her last Upward basketball game of the year… and forever. Sad momma today! These kids just grow up way too fast…

My mother-in-law has made every birthday cake for my girls. That is 34 cakes! I bought her this cupcake pan last year and she has been dying to use it. She did a great job!! SuperGirl thought the strawberry on top was a REAL strawberry!!

This little man and I got to hang out the other day. Mostly he hung out with Pickles… I hardly even knew he was here! Anyhoo… he came bearing “gifts” that day… a tin of fresh baked “muffins.” His momma raised him right… always bribe the sitter with food… or lots and lots of cuteness!

Happy birthday, Pickles!! It’s hard to believe she’s 12… next year she’ll be a teenager. Yikes. {birthday dinner at Chuy’s… and birthday sopapillas… and our little RBug!}

The best picture of the day! Cold, fun, powdery snow. And you can bet your cold wet boots that this was followed up with sitting by the fire and drinking hot chocolate.

I’m thinking I should just be glad she set her clothes out before she went to bed, right?
This came after taking WAY TOO LONG to get ready for bed, having to rebrush her teeth (which I don’t believe she brushed in the first place), and a stern talking to including the statement that I would get to pick her clothes out in the morning because she didn’t do it before bed.
She thinks she “showed me” by picking out her clothes anyway (and leaving me a “threatening” note) but I won… I didn’t have to pick out her clothes and getting dressed this morning was a breeze!

A winter storm blew in last night… there were fences down and trampolines in the road… our little stop sign didn’t fare too well, but it did better than Hubby’s truck… it ended up with a basketball goal on the hood!
