SuperGirl has done it again. Her student council has a team that will be participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Her team is the Mitchell Miracle Milers and they are walking in honor of the school secretary's husband. This weekend they had a carwash to raise money and you KNOW she was all over being there. She even got her dad and big sister to help out. It's so fun to see her getting involved and having a great time doing it!

RangeRette Revue was SPECTACULAR. It's the first dance production of Summer's that I have been to where I didn't know the songs or dances she was doing. It was a great surprise and joy to watch her. She has worked so so so hard the last few weeks... late nights dancing and catching up on schoolwork... hard practices... and a very sore back and muscles... it was worth it. Amazing show. So proud of you, Summer girl!!

The ride home from Canton was a doozy. The bugs were so bad that it sounded like someone was throwing rocks at the car the whole drive home. One can only imagine the lovely windshield I was left with. Needless to say, a trip to the carwash was high priority after returning home!

Summer performed in the One Act Play competition with a group from her school. They did the play called "You Can't Take it with You." They have been to several critiques and competitions and tonight they performed for friends and family. It was so fun to watch her perform! Hearing her lines, in character, with the other characters was a treat since we've been hearing her lines for weeks!! Great job, Summer!! So, so proud of you!!

Today was my friend Shannon's birthday. She asked her friends to perform Random Acts of Kindness in her honor. I participated last year and had a ball! This year we went small, but fun. We had a cookies and milk tea party on the front lawn with our sweet little neighbor. We invited her mom and sister over, too, but sister was napping. And in case you are wondering, yes, we stuck our pinkies and out and talked with British accents. :)

Saw this beautiful sky... hubby said it looked like aliens coming down... summer said it looked like the sky was filled with bullet holes... I nearly cried. It made me think of God reaching down and touching Earth. Funny how three people saw the same thing very differently!
