SuperGirl decided that she wanted to ride her bike to the school.  She’d planned all week to do it on Saturday since her daddy would be home and he was the one who had been talking it up. Of course there was a rain storm and COLD front that blew in overnight…

Hubby told her to walk outside and feel how COLD it was.  She wasn’t to be deterred.  So she got dressed while Hubby got the bikes out and ready to go.  He came in, COLD, and asked, “SuperGirl, are you SURE you are up for this today?”

“YEP!”

So off they went.  The plan was for me to meet them at the school with the pickup truck so we could get her bike home (and Hubby could thaw out) but I fully expected a phone call from somewhere on their route.  I had to drop Summer off at the high school for a one act play thing and then headed out to find them.  I pulled up to the school and slowly made my way back into the neighborhood they would be riding through.

And then I saw them…

They were riding along… SuperGirl was smiling ear to ear. Her cheeks were pink and her hair was windblown, but when I asked how it was she said, “GREAT!!”

When she sets her mind to something… watch out!
